I discovered this shell while beachcombing along the shores of Matauri Bay (my local surf beach). It's a large and weathered sea snail shell (Whelk, Large Ostrich Shell, Totorere), each mark telling a unique story, much like the chapters of your life. This shell, worn out by time and tide, is plated in light gold and set with a delicate resin coating.
