Matauri Bay had unexpected good hip to chest high surf so after my FB LIVE (see post below) it was the race to the post office to drop of orders then off to the beach.
Managed to beachcomb these Ram Horn Squid shells. Wait til end of the vid to see my necklace made from these bouyant seajourners.
I love them because these shells keep the invertebrate buoyant. They rise up to sea level for their long journey across open waters (and reach dry land, mostly intact)!
This necklace would be great for those who love adventures and have the determination to to rise above adversity.
