I find a lot of these broken kina shells in my local beach. I've transformed this fragment into a pendant and paired it with a small baroque pearl. Their perfectly imperfect forms complement each other.
I hand-sculpted the back of the kina with clay and plated it in silver. Both pearl and kina hang on a fine sterling silver chain.
As the sea urchin sheds its prickly exterior, a metamorphic beauty emerges in the form of a stunningly patterned shell. This necklace celebrates uncommon (and imperfect) beauty found beneath the surface, celebrating your metamorphic beauty within.
