Still Here in Wet & Wild Manila...
I'm still here in Manila β and somehow managed to time my trip right in the middle of typhoon and monsoon weather. π§οΈ
The plan was to get some work done and sneak away to one of the surf towns for a few waves, but with the weather and road conditions, I'm pretty much stuck in Manila.
It is what it is⦠so I'm making the most of it.
I've managed to catch up with two of my sisters (mostly in the mall!). I'm one of seven girls, but the rest are scattered around the world, so having three of us in the same place is actually quite a treat.
And I've been spending some of my time training a few young women to help me make jewellery stock for the coming months. It's been lovely sitting around a table together, showing them how I make the pieces and slowly getting them involved in the process.

The Large PΔua + Kina Pair Necklace is retiring. I've decided I won't be making this larger version anymore, and there are now only a handful left. Once the remaining ones are gone, that's it for this design. So if you've had your eye on one, now would be a good time to grab it before it disappears from Nostalgem for good.
