My Laptop & Latte Day at the Duke of Marlborough
Every now and then I have a Laptop + Latte Day β I escape the house with my laptop so I can work without suddenly deciding the washing needs folding. π
Last week took me to the historic Duke of Marlborough in Russell. Fire going, cuppa beside me, laptop openβ¦
Although the Duke is so full of old maritime treasures and curiosities that there was plenty to distract me there too! But better than being distracted by housechores...
Lots of whale references since Russell used to be a whaling port.
And of course, I couldn't help noticing the shells. π
There were these wonderful old shellwork frames...
...an old seaside craft where shells were collected and arranged around pictures and keepsakes. I meanβ¦ how could this little ol' beachcomber not stop and check them out? π
