I Took My Surfboard to New Plymouth and No One Guessed It

Last week I posted a photo of myself at the airport. With my surfboard.

I turned it into a guessing game. Where is Rina off to? The prize? My Pāua & Kina Shell Pair Necklace.

Nobody guessed it. (Bali? Philippines? Hawaii? Rarotonga?)

Because — as it turns out — no one expects the answer to be local. New Plymouth.

So maybe next time I'll simplify the guessing game and just put a poll up so someone can actually win.

Anyway. New Plymouth was genuinely great. Another Work & Waves trip. Work on my laptop. Catch waves. Repeat. The great thing about staying in an Airbnb and getting Uber Eats — zero cooking, zero cleaning, maximum focus.

Productive? Absolutely. Glamorous? Not even slightly.

A few pieces are back in stock — including the Kina & Fish Shell Necklace. The last time I dropped them they didn't hang around long.
