I get this question a lot: "I love your tiny kina shell jewellery… but aren’t they fragile?"

I know what you mean — these kina shells are so delicate that I’ve broken one too many just by touching them. 

The ones that survive get a little secret treatment: I pour resin inside so once it hardens, it’s solid as a rock (well, you could throw it at the wall and it would still be intact… but please don’t).
