After the recent storm, a surprise turned up at our pond...

— a little flock of white ducks, waddling around like they owned the place. Not sure where they came from or if one’s the mum (they all look the same size), but they’ve made themselves right at home.

It felt perfectly timed, because I’ve just finished a fresh take on one of my most-loved pieces:

A floating family of paua charms that drift freely on a fine chain. This is a redesign of the original Whānau Paua Shell Necklace, where the shells were fixed together in a row. This new version feels lighter, looser — like a family that’s still close, but giving each other space to move.

And here’s the best part: you can add more paua charms later on, making it a piece that grows with your family, memories, or milestones. Shop here.
