Went for a nature walk the other day here in lil ol' Kerikeri...

and — no surprise here...came home with a handful of wildflowers...
 
Some things don’t change. I was that kid who never came home empty-handed. I owned a tin can that was always stuffed with “treasures”— leaves, bugs (sorry Mum), shiny pebbles...
